Regardless of what you accomplished in 2023, the New Year is just around the corner.
What Clients And Prospects Cherish Most
Most professionals and their firms are focused on and love the products or services they sell and service. That is understandable. Enjoying and having passion for what you create, sell, or provide is critical for success in any business today.
Close The Loop And Fill Clients With Gratitude.
When a client or prospect makes a request, or when they are aware you will do or are doing something on their behalf, avoid leaving them in the dark. Give them progress reports, even if the request is a simple one.
Work The Door Not The Room
With things like your holiday party coming up, often the concern of those that are hosts is, how am I going to connect with everyone in a meaningful way?
Keep Social Events Social.
I heard from a financial team that decided they would not have a sponsor or any product or service messaging at a client and potential prospect dinner they were hosting. They wanted a purely social event. They hosted a nice dinner for eight couples, half of whom were clients while the others invited guests of those clients.
Educate To Motivate Attendees To Action
You can do educational programs on topics people care about, such as getting your child a scholarship, protecting yourself if you are sued, affording the home of your dreams, affording the retirement you have rightly earned, keys to saving money on taxes, how to lease a car, and so on.
