Three months of the year are behind us, and what I have learned over the years to hit your daily goals, weekly goals, and next quarter goals is this: now is the time to really push forward and hit GO!
How?
Practice Self-Discipline. This means thinking about the consequences of doing what needs to be done—or not doing it.
Then, take the action needed to move ahead and go forward. You will feel great about the progress you are making every day.
And why will you feel so great?
Because you did not practice self-indulgence—that is, you did not succumb to that goal-crusher thinking which, in my experience, always leads to regret.
Self-Indulgence thinking is:
- How do I feel about doing this now?
- I will wait until I feel like doing this.
- I will worry about the consequences later.
In-Summary
Self-discipline leads to celebrations self-indulgence leads to regrets. Choose wisely my friend.
