Warren Buffett recently gave a notable example of what happens when you consistently give clients a great experience and make them delighted advocates.
Mr. Buffett used Jeff Bezos’ business as a “classic example.” Specifically, he said:
“I mean, here’s a fellow who, 20 years ago, had a very, very, very small business. But he set out every day to delight is customer—through fast delivery, lower prices, whatever it took.
And today, he is thinking about how to further delight his customer—he’ll never quit.
Your customer is going to get to vote; they’re going to get to talk.
You want them out there as salespeople for you, and they will be—if you delight them.”
Mr. Buffett is of course spot on.
What steps are you taking to delight your clients and have them be advocates for you?
