Getting the year off to a great start is what we are all told to do, and many of us plan to do so. Unfortunately, that is often easier said than done. It is easy to reflect back on last year’s successes and failures and ponder how to jump back in this year.
As my good friend, the late Zig Ziglar, often said:
“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”
Like driving a car, where the windshield is bigger than the rearview mirror, what is in front of you is more important than where you have been. Start with what you have, and the rest will fall into place.
This will be an amazing year for you and yours.
